In Switzerland, he went on to lead robotic urology programs at the cantonal hospitals of Frauenfeld and Münsterlingen as Senior Consultant Urologist, and in 2021 received the official Swiss subspecialty title "Schwerpunkt Operative Urologie." He holds a doctorate from the University of Hamburg, and in October 2025 was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) — the first urologist in Switzerland to receive this honor.
Dr. med. Sergey Sarychev (MD, FEBU, FACS) is a board-certified urologic surgeon recognized by the American College of Surgeons and the Swiss, European, German, and Russian Boards of Urology, with extensive experience in robotic and reconstructive urology.
He completed his medical training in Saint Petersburg, specializing in Urology, before joining St. Antonius Hospital in Gronau, Germany — one of Europe's leading centers for robotic urology — where he worked from 2014 to 2020, specializing in Da Vinci–assisted procedures and earning his Fellowship of the European Board of Urology.
